Tarah is on her 3rd season Bretton Woods and loved meeting and working with our members. Prior to Bretton Woods, she was the Assistant Director of Instruction for MCG Golf and a Lead Instructor at Falls Road Golf Course, where she taught for 10 years. Tarah grew up golfing in Bloomsburg, PA and has lived in the DC Metro since graduating from college in 2006. She currently lives in Poolesville with her 11 year old son, Alex. Tarah learned golf at a very young age because her Dad would bring her and her older siblings to the course with him. She started playing competitively when she was 11 and went on to earn a scholarship to Wake Forest University. She transferred to Saint Francis University in PA where she graduated with a BS in Information Systems and Mathematics. While there, she was the Captain of the 2-time NCAA division I championship qualifying women's team. Tarah is a Class A member of the LPGA Teaching & Club Professionals. She is dedicated to continuing her golf educations and regularly attends national teaching seminars and conferences that cover all topics of golf. Tarah teaches men and women of all abilities and is passionate about youth development. She is a US Kids Certified instructor and the Site Director for the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf of Montgomery County. Tarah is a 4-time honorable mention for US Kids Golf Top Coaches and won the 2017 LPGA Northeast Section Junior Golf Leader Award. In addition to the numerous junior offerings, Tarah offers Golf Fore All to adults, LPGA 101 for women, and various coaching programs and drop-in clinics for adults.
