Charles is a seasoned hospitality professional with a passion for creating exceptional experiences in country clubs and golf communities. With a strong background in strategic planning, operations, and membership engagement, he has dedicated his career to enhancing service levels, food and beverage programs, and overall club operations. His leadership style is collaborative and hands-on, always focused on building strong relationships with staff, members, and Boards of Governors to foster a welcoming and thriving club environment. Throughout his career, Charles has led clubs through transformative initiatives, including multimillion-dollar renovations, innovative membership programs, and strategic planning efforts. His expertise spans operations, financial management, team development, and clubhouse and golf course construction, consistently driving long-term success and sustainability. His deep passion for food and beverage has also played a key role in elevating dining experiences and member satisfaction. Beyond his professional work, Charles and his wife, Sheryl, live in Virginia and have four adult children. Several years ago, they started a home restoration business specializing in mid-to-turn-of-the-century homes, a family endeavor where each member has played a role in the renovation process. They also cherish time together as a family, embracing new adventures and traveling whenever possible. Charles is thrilled to get started and looks forward to joining the Bretton Woods team, connecting with the members, and becoming part of this vibrant community.
