Youth Leadership Academy at Bretton Woods
Bretton Woods Youth Leadership Academy (BWYLA) offers two programs, Future Leaders (BWFL) for ages 5-9 and Teen Enrichment Adventure Mentoring (TEAM) for ages 10-18. BWYLA strives to build and strengthen friendships and create a strong community of lifelong learners by educating and empowering youth.
Both programs run 4 hours a day, 8 days in total. Times and dates can be determined by the group to fit their schedule. Themes can be adjusted for specific group goals and objectives. Price covers the first six participants.
Bretton Woods Future Leaders (BWFL)
The Bretton Woods Future Leaders program for children ages 5-9 offers diverse activities designed to promote learning and nurture new interests and experiences through engagement, education, and entertainment.
Teen Enrichment Adventure Mentoring (TEAM)
The TEAM Program for youth ages 10-18 utilizes the same activities as BWFL designed to engage, educate, and entertain. In addition, guest speakers, presenters, discussions, and real-life applications combine to make all activities and topics relatable to this age group.
The TEAM Program is designed for participants to build on each session by attending the entire 8-day program. The TEAM Program is an ongoing personal and group development model that focuses on the development of the individual. Goal setting and action plans are used to advance participants' future opportunities in school and life.
BWYLA is committed to member needs and would like to hear of any activities and topics that you would like to see included. Please contact the program director David Ritter with any questions or program ideas.
