Forest Adventures

Climb and soar through the trees in our aerial ropes adventure course which is led safely by our trained staff. Ages five and up will love climbing across rope bridges and various obstacles and zip-lining through scenic paths. Join our experienced staff on the archery range to learn and gain skills shooting a bow and arrow or try our giant slingshots. Participate in a class on how to build your own fishing pole and head over to the fishing pond or walk along the creek for an exciting day of fishing. Bring your own mountain bike as our team leads biking trips along our own 2 mile trail or the C & O Canal towpath. Kids eight and under can enjoy our pedal carts and RC monster trucks on our off road racing track and obstacle course. Survive in the wilderness! Bring the family for our primitive skills and cooking experience designed to get everyone working together. Plan a campout with your group at Adventure Hill or our Wilderness Camp or get primitive out on an island in the Potomac River.

Water Activities

It's hard to beat a warm day out on the water. Enjoy a relaxing tubing tour on flat water from Berryville Road to Poole's Store and for the thrill-seekers - battle the white water while tubing or canoeing at Violettes Lock. Bring your family for a scenic canoeing or paddleboarding tour from Poole's Store to Riley's Lock or enjoy a sunset paddleboarding experience at Violettes Lock. Get a unique and centering workout with our Yoga Paddleboarding class, or just enjoy some summer fun with the kids on our inflatable slip & slide.
